ENTSO-E published the full Project Portfolio for the Ten-Year Network Development Plan 2026 (TYNDP), which will include 199 transmission and 69 storage projects. This updated portfolio reflects Europe’s continued commitment to developing a resilient, interconnected, and decarbonised energy system. 5

The portfolio was amended with 22 transmission and 20 storage projects proposed by project promoters during a second submission phase organised by ENTSO-E from 15 September to 15 October 2025. ENTSO-E verified the project applications based on the TYNDP 2026 Guidance for Applicants.

All projects in the TYNDP 2026 portfolio will undergo an assessment based on a Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) methodology. The results will be made available to project promoters for review in Q4 2026 and will be then published as part of the TYNDP 2026.

Promoters can update their project data still prior to the publication of the final TYNDP 2026, showing most up-to-date information. However, as CBA calculations are ongoing, all CBA results will be based on the original data submitted.
