ENTSO-E publishes today its Annual Report 2025, highlighting a year of significant progress in supporting Europe’s secure, resilient and decarbonised electricity system.
The report presents the achievements of ENTSO-E and its 40-member Transmission System Operators (TSOs) across system operations, infrastructure planning, market development, innovation, digitalisation and energy system flexibility.
Among the key milestones of 2025 were the successful synchronisation of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with the Continental Europe Synchronous Area, the publication of the 2024 Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP), progress on flexibility and adequacy assessments, and strengthened cooperation with EU DSO Entity on initiatives such as data interoperability and the future European grid Digital Twin.
The report also highlights ENTSO-E’s work to enhance operational resilience, including the investigation of major power system incidents and continued efforts to strengthen security of supply across Europe.
As Europe advances its energy transition, ENTSO-E remains committed to enabling a secure, efficient and integrated power system that supports decarbonisation, competitiveness and long-term resilience.
